Hello everyone and welcome to my channel! I have decided to capture some key memories highlighting the adventures of making a baby. These videos are an overview of some tests and procedures that have happened from 1st fertility OB/GYN appointment to IVF and beyond. Join us on our wild ride! PLEASE SUBSCRIBE Our Story My husband Justin and I met in 2016 and were married in 2018. We knew that we wanted to start a family and tried for about a year before seeking out help. At first, we tried the cheaper (compared to IVF) but not as successful iui (intrauterine insemination). The 1st round did not work. Eager to make the second one a home run we decided to incorporate lifestyle changes for about 3 months to see if that would be the missing factor. Unfortunately these measures did not make enough of a difference for the procedure to be a success. After two iui’s that did not work I started to lose hope that this was going to be the way we were going to have a baby. Being pretty much over having more IUI procedures, I started to look into IVF. However, I was a little reluctant due to the hefty price tag. Randomly one day I came across a video taking about a website called SART which shows the facilities with the highest success rates nearby. I figured if we were going to invest a large amount of money into this, I wanted the highest change that it would work. I settled on a place and attempted one final IUI before moving on to IVF. Thankfully, we were one of the very fortunate ones and our first round of IVF was a winner!!!!! |
